Disrespect

This morning I was on my way to work. I was cruising about 80-85mph. (I-95 HOV Woodbridge to DC) Just north of Springfield two guys on GXRS-750s passed me. They must of been doing 95mph. I didn't even see them coming because I was "crusing". This obvious act of disrespect towards the KING (my busa) pissed me off to no end.... I down-shifted and blew by them at warp speed... I waited for them at the Pentagon exit. They asked me why I cleared out. I told them I thought they was trying to be smart. They said they actually wanted to ride with me... Now I feel terrible. I must be going crazy.... It seemed like a total dis at the time. Now that I think about it, I must be nuts. Am I tripping out or what? Has this type of thing ever happened to anyone else???

You're trippin....it was probably the bridge you went over. It messed up your thought process. You have to reboot.

Next time just tell them thats the same thing you were just trying to do.... Come on if they blew by you at any speed thats not just trying to ride with you! I think thats their story after the fact........

+1 my thoughts exactly. I was crusing down the street and a zx-7 passed me on one wheel. Scared the **** out of me. He came from no where. I had to take it up a few notches and show him he was not going to hang with a Busa. It just has to be done once in a while.

If they blew by you they didnt want to ride with you, they wanted to screw with you.

I have had to "show a few myself", but that all depends on the state of mind that i am in at the time. there have been other times i let them have their moment of glory so they can brag to all there other scooter riding buddies.

We found out the hard way when we were heading to my little neck of the woods...from the rumors I've heard, he kind of slowed down to around 30 mph once he hit the bridge and had Postal not been behind him, he would have turned around...

It was just a small bridge...only 2 miles long...

Why should anyone respect the Busa any more than a Honda Rebel?

A cycle is a cycle and a rider is a rider and you don't have the fastest of the first nor are you the best of the last.

5 to 10 mph over is all i do in town. If people want to blow by me at 90+ mph, see ya later! I have no problems with that. It happend to me the other day. Some guy in his full size Dodge pickup came up behind me. I could see him weaving in and out of traffic. Next thing i knew, he blew by me like i was standing still. To bad for him a cop was about 1/4 mile in front of me and he didnt know it. He go stopped, i laughed and kept riding...

Seems that NCR stir crazy syndrome has hit full force.. Those guys are full of shet. I was in Lorton when I worked at the NMCC/RED Switch. Never had to cross that darned Occuquan Bridge... Those guys were prolly scurrd that you might be somebody...

My butt grab that tobin very tight. I just could not turn the throttle. Yea, if Postal was not behind me I would have big sixed my baby and chilled under a tree till the group returned

I'm seeing a shrink now. I feel I'm getting better

I was bamboozled by VA and the rest of the group!!! The tried to expose superman. (..and was very successful)
