NEW YORK (Reuters) - Walt Disney Co said on Monday it plans to buy Marvel Entertainment Inc for $4 billion in a deal that would add characters like Iron Man, Spider-Man, and the Fantastic Four to its entertainment empire.

Wow. I wonder what will happen to Universal Studios theme park attractions? I know they will be (eventually) rebranded, but the Marvel Superhero Island and Marvel rides are a big draw for the park.
This will be an interesting watch for those in the industry and all people that make their living in the area. Past experience shows me that attendance won't simply "shift" from one park to another.
