Other than the 2 new color choices, the exhaust pipes are stainless vs a blackcoated finish I could not see spending the xtra $$. Buy the 2001 and then spend the savings on some add ons. Thats what I'm doing. By the way, i got a 2001 for $8,999 plus tax. might try to negotiate abit more.
