After looking at a lot of BUSA's in my local papers (saw about 17 bikes in person)..... 1 caught my eye like no other.
owner was 49 years old and a really cool dude.  not a single scratch or mark, bike was babied and covered after every ride.

the details:

2002 Hayabusa (black/blue) 918 miles
5 year Suzuki no questions extended warranty(transferred to my name now)
Yoshimura RS-3 Dual Slip On (carbon sleeves)
upgraded cpu chip

other stuff included with bike:
clear alternatives turn signals(front and rear sets)
clear alternatives rear clear light
chrome frame sliders and bar ends
Shoei RF900 brand new Hayabusa helmet (came with bag)
H.I.D. bulbs
Hayabusa bike cover
Hayabusa Tank bra
all the above is still in the box.

paid him $8500.00 cash
the original owner paid over $11k easily total for everything, seen all the receipts and stuff.

I know I coulda got a new '03 for less than $10k easily or an '04 for $10,700 OTD but it wasn't worth it to me.  I bought my last bike used with low miles and sold it for $200 more than what I paid for it.

deal or did I get ripped off?

You did good. Wish I would have got all of those extras for the price.

GOOD DEAL

Sounds like a good deal to me! You'd spend a lot more to get that same bike with mods if you bought new...mods kill us new bike owners!!! Ughhhh...

thanks for the input guys,
I never spent this much on a bike,
so I started to feel a little weird.....
but I love the bike, so that's all that matters.

glad to hear I didn't get taken.

Dude you paid WHAT??  You got screwed...so to save some face i'll offer you $7000 for you to get some of your money back..I hope it helps..   Just kidding...or am I?!
