not tryin to slam-but WTF you need radar for if you dont have a screen?? can you even stand the windshear off the front above 65mph?

I broke my screen first time I wreckd on the Busa, n just driving back to dealrship to get a new one on the interstate it was like GOD was tryin to kick my off the bike at 70mph!!!

i think you just need a new mounting system-several members here run radar & GPS and still retain their windscreens-most use the DB ones cuz they push more air up n away from you-dude just put one on n drive 2mi on the interstate, you'll never wana ride w/o a screen again

dont know who makes tha mount, but I've seen'em come right from middle of tripleclamp-much easier than right in front of your switch assembly.

No offense taken bro ;-) I had the stock screen on there before the wreck, and it sucked.
directed the air to the helmet and made me bob and weave etc. gave the neck a workout.
since the crash I have not put a screen on it. The nose breaks the wind and flows it over my
helmet. Wind protection is awesome, because I do not feel it. And when I tuck in. I can feel
the streamlining of the air over my helmet and down my back. its awesome.

Also I have the custom painted 'double bubble' type but still choose not to use it. Not to
mention my gps will make contact with the screen and not let me turn all the way.
And I like the look better without it.

Unfortunatly the tripple tree I went with does not allow me to mount things from that center nut.

I ride my Warrior down the highway at 100mph and it has no screen. The riding position makes it feel like I am a parachute. A Busa does not need a screen. Besides the stock screen is sooooo low how can anyone get below it?

Nice looking Busa.

You can get a Ram mount that attaches to the front tank bolts. You could mount both the GPS and the radar detector to those. Your bars and gauges would be completely clear when you ride. Then the screen is strickly an option, need it or not. I have found a DB screen to be helpful when I got caught in the rain a few times. No need for it if you only ride dry and warm conditions.
