Delays on ZX-12R

Just found out today that the ZX-12R in going to be delayed for at least another month while they go thru customs. Was really looking foward to doing a comparison of the two at the dealership I work at, but I guess it will be a little longer.

A month for going though customs? sounds fishy to me! are we sure Kawasaki have *actually* made one of these bloody things yet!?

Let me understand you perfectly clearly, none in feb. none in march, so were looking at april now? The bikes have been in canada,UK, and europe for 3 weeks now.
This was communicated to you in what form and by the factory I assume.

It's normal for Bikes to be released in the UK and Europe before they are in the States.Their market is much bigger than ours and they sell alot more bikes over there.Look for the ZX12 to be tested there first.

Gixxer, it's not that Europe buys more or less; it's the hassle to get certification in this dear country of ours.

Indeed the UK spec hasn't even been finalised yet let alone released, the US *are* getting their bikes first.

Sounds like yet another ZX12 still born to me.

The Kawasaki ZX-12R is delayed in Sweden aswell as the ZX-900, due front suspension problem (Kawasaki by them from other vendors)
They are expected to be delivered in August
This is what my local company are telling me!
I hope US are more lucky then Europe since it's from there he imports the Bikes.
