Definition(s) of popcorn?

How many definitions does this emoticon have? I've seen it in a number of different posts and can't figure out what its supposed to mean.

Sometimes it is someone just sitting back and watching the entertainment, sometimes it is a way to bump a thread back to the top.

Those are the only two that I have used it for...

Its kinda like "pass the popcorn" and watching the entertainment as MC Mustang just said. Sometimes after the popcorn icon has been posted i'll post up something like "Anyone have extra salt for my popcorn?"
