Cruising RPMs?

Just curious where you guys keep it and where you shift when your not in a hurry? I commute on mine as well as joy ride... the joy ride part I get.

in the city 5000-8000rpm, hwy redline on the on ramp. after that it goes to sixth gear.

Cruising RPMs, about 5-7K.

cruising.. 3,500 before the sprocket change.. 4,200 now.. 'round 60mph.

if I'm not in a hurry i guess I shift around 5-6,000

Thanks... thats what I thought! This is my first busa and with that much headroom I wanted to make sure I wasn't taxing the engine loping at 3500-4500.
