Crane Scale Bike weigh in testing

RJ is still in pieces , but by the weekend I should have him done . The straps were 6.61 pounds so Tianne's Bandit aka Black Betty is right on par with the tracking ive done .
I was figuring 470 even , and was pleased with the results . I tested the scale prior to the bike for accuracy from 1 lb to 5 lb , 45 lb , ( me 155 in clothes ) and 45 lb attached to me . Scale was on for every weight . FYI the USA soft tie you see in the center top on bar is a 800 lb rated unit .

This worked pretty well by owning a 1200 lb rated rack . Fork lift would make this easy . I may ride RJ to the office on the weekend to use the company fork lift .

Black Betty weighs wet now what it did dry . 45 lb reduction total . However the bike has added crash bars , Belly pan , Hand wind deflectors from DL1000 , 1200 Bandit swing arm / Wheel for a 180/55/17 spec tire on a 5.5 " wheel . Stock was a 160 on a 4.75" wheel . We could trim 10 to 15 lb quickly if wanted .

460 is Dry weight per service manual .
