Corbin Beetle Bags

I've been researching hard bags for my Gen 1 and not really impressed with anything other than the Beetle Bags. Corbin no longer offers the Gen 1 version, does anybody know if anyone has tried fitting the Gen 2 bags to a Gen 1? It's hard to picture but I think the lines wouldn't be bad, just a matter of figuring out the mounting. Anybody with input?

You can put a gen two tail section on.
The bags delete the turn signal pods on the Gen 2. You do know not the best storage to weight ratio, and non quick release?

No, good info on the non quick release. That would be a pain. I've expanded my plan to possibly adding a 2006 Honda ST1300 to the stable instead of adding bags to the Busa. The local dealer took it in on trade and it's a cream puff; obviously has been very well cared for. I was at the dealer out of boredom and it may change my future somewhat. We never know
