Cooling Fan Wont turn Off

my cooling fan wont shut off. I had to disconnect battery. Does anyone have and ideas.

Thermastat maybe? If it thinks its still hot it will keep trying to cool it. I base that on almost nothing tho, just makes sense to me.

Check you relay by fuse box, also sheck for a melted wire grounding to exhaust for fan !!!

This may sound stupid but was the key off? If the key is on the fan can come on at anytime when the engine is hot and will stay on till the engine is cooled off.

I would check the cooling fan Thermo-Switch (not the thermostat, although it's one more thing to check) and the Cooling Fan Control Relay. The Thermo-Switch is located on the top left side of the radiator next to the fan
