cool digital camera feature----color accent

I was playing around with my camera yesterday, and it has a setting called "color accent".

Pretty cool, eh!!!

I've had the camera (Canon G11) for 3 months and never knew it could do this, maybe I should read the manual.

I think theres an iphone app that does something like this. If anybody has that, please post some pics, too.

That is a pretty cool feature to have on your camera. I will keep this feature in mind when I go looking for a camera of my own.

How do you tell or select what gets color or not ?

Once you're in that mode, a box shows up in the middle of the LCD screen, and you find and put that color you want to keep inside it. You can select a range (-5 - +5) on how close the colors in the picture can be to the specified one, and then it makes everything else B&W.
