wondering if there are any mechanics out there, that could answer the question, I have a compression gauge but the threads on the fitting are about 1/2 the length of the spark plug threads. Can I still get an accurate reading? Thanks to all..
I was thinking that if you shave the cylinder head you increase the compression. so if there is a couple of cc of space in the shorter fitting, which would increase the size of the combustion chamber, wouldn't that decrease the compression?
