Comp/Rebound settings?

I set the Busa comp & rebound settings like I have my R1 set up, 4 clicks out comp, 5 clicks out rebound. Spring preload is at the midway setting. She's seems a bit to stiff & gets very unhappy over 140, feels like the front tire has no compliance with the road surface. It is possible it was the road surface.

What settings do you agressive riders like?

TIA.

I started with the sportrider settings:

...and read their write-up:

...and basically, I decided that I was heavier (280lb, w/gear) than their rider and needed a little more damping and preload all around.

Starting from their settings, I (nearly) maxed out the rear preload (bike on centerstand, collar almost as far as it will go), went another turn or two down on the fork preload, and about two more turns each on the front and rear compression damping.

The rebound damping that the sportrider folks did were fine, IMO. For me, this is a very tight setup for city and twisty riding. It holds the road pretty well, but I haven't gotten up to 140 more than twice and not for very long. YMWV, FWIW.
