Clutch

Im new to hayabusas so if im wrong tell me. When I start up my 06 it runs smooth but when I pull in the clutch and release it with out shifting it into gear it sounds rough like the clutch or something but when I pull in the lever it quiets down. Please help Im completely new to this bike. Thanks for all the help. I have 18,000 miles on the bike if that helps at all.

Pull the cover and check the clutch plates.

They do have a bit of a noisy clutch, but if it concerns you do as GPW says and inspect the plates.
