clutch plates

I just purchased a DP clutch kit DPSK222F the instructions say they do not need to be pre-soaked in oil, is that wise not to pre-soak? Also I know there are two steel plates that are thicker than the others and they go in the middle. Are the frictions plates the same or are there two of them different also, because they look the same to me. Thanks for any help.

I'd do the presoak, it can't hurt to be safe. friction plates should be the same unless noted with that kit, my Barnett came with an extra one for an '04???

The two thickest fibers are on the end of the stacks. The funny looking one on the inside, and the regular looking one on the outside, make sure the tabs on the outer one engage the basket hub....uhhh...soak'em anyway........ :super:
