Clear Front Turn Signals

Just finished the clear front turn signals mod. It wasn't as bad as I thought it might be taking only 2-1/2 hours to complete. About 30 minutes were spent wrestling with the front fairing. Here is a pic (not the best because it is dark) of what it looks like now. I will post more pics with the steps that I used to complete it tomorrow.

Thanks, Rob. I think the look is greatly improved over the yellow signals. Felt more like a bug with those things. 'Gotta charge the batteries on my camera so I can take more pics.

Whos did you use ? I have heard of quality issues , how was the fit. They look great on your bike.

I went with the Clear Alternatives set. I've heard the quality of them isn't the best, but I didn't have any problems with fit. The stock lights come a little more encased in plastic, so we will see if there is any problems with vibrations.

Who else is manufacturering clear lenses for both rear tail light and front blinkers?

Wow, I don't know why I just found this thread but...your lenses look great!!  The clear looks 100% better than the yellow.

Mind lenses didn't look like that at all.  The gap at the bottom was really noticable and I don't even see one in your pic!  

I'm still contemplating whether or not to have them just send me another set as a replacement.  Maybe I just got a bad one.

Anyway, it really looks great and I'm glad you didn't have any problems!!

Thanks, Kris. I agree the clear looks much better than the yellow. I also added the chrome colored bulbs which makes for an interesting look. I hope it was just that particular set that you received that was bad and the next ones are better, if you decide to do it.
