I've been looking (drooling) over the clear front turn signals from clear alternatives, but I have heard most of you say that the fit is poor, and needs hand fitting. Clear alternataves has said that they fixed the problem, but have they?

Have they been making good on exchanges for new styles?

Any input you all have..........................

Might try the new ribbed looking stuff, but as far as I know their other crap is still crap... At least if your picky. Everything I have heard is that they are still hit and miss, but I have a ribbed clear rear that looks like it will work great.

Yes, Rev, I am a little picky, even though I did the hump mod!

Please let me know if the ribbed just looks like it will work, or if it does. Heck, I dont like to blow money on show first of all, and if it does not fit, well, that really ticks me off.

Wish I could tell whether or not the ribbed stuff works, but I was one of the lucky ones on the original set.

Mine didn't fit perfect but, they did fit well and you cannot tell by looking, you just notice it when you fitting them up. By the way they look awesome.

When did u bought yours? is this the redesign lens?

u are right very nice.
Sorry I'm so slow getting back...I bought mine in March or so directly from Clear Alternatives and they are the newer style lens. Also, I used the chromed bulbs which show no color until you activate the signal. They look great when they are off but are not very bright when flashing--hard to see them well on a bright day. Just letting you know so you can decide

So, let me get this straight, clear alternitaves thinks they need one more month to fit turn signal lenses ( that fit properly)to a 5 year old bike?

I have heard that the motorteck lens are the best fit because they use the original housing you just replace the lens and they are true clear.

This other thing to consider is that for those of us that have pre-05's we can order the 05 clear lenses and (Should!) have perfect fit and an 05 lense!

I've pretty much decided that's what I'm going to do....it isn't killing me badly enough to futz around with poor fitting parts, so I'll just wait on the factory ones.
