Chroming?

Ok. I've seen people chrome different parts of their bike and I was wondering...how do you chrome these parts? I know car wheels are "chrome dipped".....is it the same for all parts? How do these people get their entire bike chromed? (not that I want to) Is there a chrome paint?

The metal partds of triple plated in most cases, and follow the standard chroming process. The plastic pieces follow a different process that was developed specifically for chroming plastic and nonmetallic pieces.. ITs probably been around for a while but became popular/affordable about 2-3 years ago. You have the equipment you can even chrome plastic pieces at home now.. MAn has the game changed lolol
