checking stator

iv got charging issues - yr 99/00
how can i check the stator for definite to know its ok?
iv checked the 3 yellow wires coming out of it
took 3 readings between each wire - spec says in manual - +65v AC
im getting as spec on 2 of them but the 3rd is very low - IE 10-15v

is that correct with it being AC - ie alternating current or should i have 65v+ on each reading?

im no sparky but it cant be that hard to check before iv got to rip out the stator and replace it

any ideas anyone?

Should be on each, but refer to the manual.

just re-read the manual again - seems it is between the 3 wires all giving the same reading - seems i need a new stator.. pah...

anyone know where i can get a replacement?
