could be a nice project bike but with "salvage" title, you will never get your money back out...

Not even a salvage title, but "certificate of destruction". They cannot be registered here in NC. If you bought it, it's a parts bike and nothing more (here)

You can buy nice Busa for $4500-5000, undamaged with clean title. Who paid him $3550 for a pile of parts?

Cause what's left can be sold to the public for more.

Maybe.

car kits going for under $2k at psychobike daily now...

if they have to ship the bike they will probably lose money.

If the bike has a messed up motor, they will probably lose money.

at $1900 it was a good buy... at 3500 it better have a good frame and motor or you are hosed..

You guys kill me- I'm sure there are alot of readers out here who are on very limited budgets but dream of having the bike we all own today. Not everyone can just pull the trigger and spend a wad of cash on a bike they might only get to ride 6 mos out of the year. I was one of them.

Yes it needs work but considering I never could have afforded one when I was younger, just thought I'd put this one out for someone hoping Santa might help them.

In the past when I sell stuff on ebay and the guy who bids has an * in his name he is from another country and cannot bid on ebay items. Ebay will send you a message saying "this member is not eligable to purchace your item please relist your item" after this guy bids to high to be true. i.e. I sold a laptop on ebay and all I wanted was $500 or so. The guy who won bid $15000! It never sold I got the message above like three times so i just said F... it and keep the damn thing

the **'s in the name are part of Ebays new privacy policy (they sent out notice about 2 months ago).. too much fraud, second chance offers, spam were being generated to the losing bidders and so Ebay blocks the names of bidders on specific items
