changing rear spring

how hard is it to change the rear spring on a 08 and would I need any special tools or is it better to just have a shop do it ?

If you've got a spring compressor you can do it yourself.

i took it to a shop it can be dangerous if you don't know what your doing...

Taking it out of the bike is a piece of cake. I did that much, at least.

I had a shop do the rebuild, however so I don't know. If you have the right tools, just about anything is easily accomplished.

yes i just took the shock to the dealer...
