changing password

i have emailed them ten times trying to get my original password but they keep sending me crazy letters and numbers back for the unlock box. i did get back on forum but where it says to change password i put in password they gave me and it says i cant change it . this is driving me crazy please help!!!!!!!!

YOU CAN DELETE THIS THREAD BUT I STILL CANT LOG ON ALL
THE TIME LAST TIME I CHANGED MY PASSWORD I LOGGED OFF
AND LOGGED BACK WITH NEW PASSWORD NO PROBLEM.
TODAY OCT .22 I TRY WITH NEW PASSWORD AND IT SAYS
WRONG PASSWORD , WHAT GIVES.

ITS PROABLY JUST ME.WHEN THEY CHANGED MY PASSWORD MANUALLY IT WORKED RIGHT AWAY
THEN THE NEXT DAY I CAME TO WORK , ON MY WORK
COMPUTER I COULDN'T GET ON.I DONT WANT TO BE A PAIN BUT IF SOMEBODY COULD HELP THAT WOULD BE

Try closing all internet explorer windows. Open 1 window to some page other than H.org. Then delete all your temporary files and cookies. Tools-Internet Options General tab- in the middle there. Warning, deleting the cookies may force you to log in at some websites you previously asked to remember your log in credentials.

i guess im not cut out for this. everytim i log
out and try to log on it works one time and
thats it. then it say password error,how can
that be.if i dont use it for a while will it time out.

Are you using Internet Explorer? On AOL? How do you connect both at home and at work?

On the work computer you may have a user profile stored on another computer. This saved profile is the default everytime you log onto a company computer, which might just be causing the problem... Let us know how things work at home. Be sure and clear your cookies, cache, history, etc.... This should eliminate your problem. Plus, turn off the auto fill feature for your browser if your using one.

if that makes any sense. at work we have internet
explorer.

While I am somewhat new to all of this as well (and having my own problems), could you still be logged on at your home computer while trying to log on a second time at your work computer?? Would this cause this problem?

I'M LOGGED ON AT WORK ALOT AND TODAY I TRY TO GET
ON NEW TOPIC AND IT SAID WELCOME GUEST? JUST BEFORE THAT IT HAD MY SCREEN NAME ON THE TOP.
I GUESS I WILL JUST SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.
