Chain Replacement

I know this has been mentioned somewhere, and I did a search but nothing came up specific. Just so much faster to just re-ask the question:

Can I replace the chain without replacing sprockets? Sprockets look great.

Have an o-ring or two showing, and when you slowly turn the rear, the chain tension will tighten in spots.

How many miles on It? If the chain is just messed up from sitting and it has less than 1000 miles on it I would say yes sprockets would be fine, But rule of thumb is change them all .

Do em all so they all wear together through their lifespan. The chain is the expensive part, so sprockets wont hurt the wallet too much.

Rule of thumb is change them as a set. If the sprockets look new :dunno: go for it. If nothing else save the old sprockets.

Sprockets are cheap. In my view, you should replace the chain and sprockets as a set. Good time to add a tooth or two to the rear if you like.
