Chain Length Questions???

Hey peeps I have a 2006 LE Busa with bolt on extensions (4.5 inch stretch) I currently have a 40 Tooth rear sprocket and I think the front is 16 a Tooth. I bought the bike like this and never checked the front sprocket. The chain is a 134 links long. I just purchased a 42 tooth rear sprocket and would like to put in a 16 tooth front sprocket and new chain.

My questions are:

Since I'm putting in a larger (2 teeth more) rear sprocket how many links should I add to the new chain?

I'm doing a little research and found that a lot of people have good things to say about the EK ZZZ chains. What do you guys think? Which is the best chain to buy?

You have to cut every chain to fit. Buy a long chain and cut that puppy to fit!

EK chains are a good choice!

Chains are like oil. And tires. Everyone has their favorites. Ask 5 people, get 5 answers.

My only advice is don't buy the cheapy stuff. It's a Busa.

Totally agree with Pashnit. The guy who owned my bike before snapped the chain and it broke the clutch cover and that was it luckily. Snap chains at speed can do some serious damage to your ride and worse to you.
