chain chat... RK 530 LFO XW Ring

my buddy has 6 or 7 of these on the shelf. I can get one for 150.oo CDN. They have a tensil strength of 10,000. A wear factor of 1000.

RK an' DID are the 2 manufacture's that supply the big 4, an' Beemer's etc etc...with factory chain.

My question is: does any 1 have first hand knowledge of these chains. The LFO is supposed to have been injected with a serious lubricant. The company states long long chain life. X ring technology. yadda yadda ya.

I'm going back to stock sprog's 17-40. So, I'll be unzipping the 16-42 set-up thats presently on the Smurf Machine.

More importantly, any first hand knowledge of the RK LFO XW RING chain. Enlighten me.

So far so good! Switched this last time to the RK 530 setup.... Still pretty early to tell, but I haven't had any problems as of late. Had a buddy do this a year ago, still running strong. Decided to save some money and give it a try.

Forgot to mention whole set-up was $199 to my door...... (Front/Rear sprocket, Chain)
