cell phone as internet

I used to use an app called leaner on my DROID to connect my laptop to the internet and there was no additional charge. Now since I have the DROID X, that app no longer works. It is almost like Verizon has it blocked. Does anyone know of another app that I can use to avoid paying Verizon the extra $20 a month to use my DROIDX as an internet interface?



Any help is greatly appreciated.

Pdanet is a good app but you have to go to there website and download it Verizon has it blocked on the app store

I am using the tether lite and it took me a while to get it set up, but it seems to be working ok. I just hope my phone and laptop save the set up!!
