well brothers and sisters,
i have been on the road every weekend almost all summer long. i thought i'd take a little time and give a report and post some pics. :beerchug:

the 1st trip was down to Denver.
my wife planned this trip.
we left early. almost too early for me. but we hit the road headed for the Renaissance Fair. my son had a blast there playing all the games and watching the joust.
the next day we went through garden of the gods and up to cave of the winds. then the penny arcade in Manitou.
i finally got to eat gator at the Buckhorn. and on the way home i took my fam to the Choice City Butcher and Deli for an awesome burger!:cheerleader: how good? so good i didn't even get a picture!:beerchug:
then i stopped again at the border for a pic on the way home! fun trip! i didn't get very many pics from it though. :banghead:

Trip 2
the next weekend we loaded up and went on the Run to the Wall in Cody. the Vets do a poker run and dinner raffle up to there from Casper with the preparty in Casper the night before.
it was a nice ride up there. i got on the road around 10am. hit hiland for a Pepsi. then thermop for lunch and got into Cody late afternoon.
we camped in town at the Ponderosa. spent most of the few days we were there just laying around the camp.
after a viscous picnick table attacked my wife, me and my buddy Farley. we both had hurt knees, and didn't feel like walkin much.
we did load up and with my friend Darcy on her Shadow, we bombed out to the dam. we both had fun revvin up and spinnin out tires as we went through the tunnels. the road in there is cold and slick.
on our way home monday we stopped in Meeteetse, and had a pretty good burger at the Cowboy bar and cafe. i told my son if he didn't behave i'd take him to jail. well he wondered into the bar looking for the restroom and  i took him out side to the jail! he calmed down real quick and though it was way funny to put ME in jail.
we stopped in Thermop and went swimming at the teepe pools. the how water does wonders for sore muscles.
after the pools, a nice cruze through the canyon, a left turn, then 100mi burn and i was home before i knew it. great ride and fun with the family and friends!:cheerleader:

I didn't appreciate the roads in Montana when I lived there. Acutally, I'm from Eastern Montana so there aren't many good roads there anyway.

well i saved the best for last!!:cheerleader:
:thumbsup:Redlodge Montana via the best road in the country!

i got up early and was gassed up and on the road by 1pm.
i did the bar hop all the way up to redlodge.

the 1st stop was Highland Wyoming, for a pepsi and a rum and coke. i really like this place, nice folks, biker friendly! don't blink, you'll miss it!

i took a right at Shoshone, and stopped by the dam before i screamed through the canyon. :super: the water is high this year and it was neat to see and feel the power up on the dam, even though it's enter at your own risk:whistle:

next stop was the Flying Dutchman in Thermopolis for a Pepsi. then to Pumperknicks for bad service and awesome burgers:beerchug:
i don't think maww and paww had ever seen a contraption like Bessie there.

out in the middle of nowhere i stopped for some water and to wet down. it was hot.

i cought some gas in Cody and hammerd it out to the road of roads. Chief Joseph and beartooth!:cheerleader: omg what can i say that pics can't ! the Chief has alot of crack fill making you need to set up you corner entry close on the inside to allow for the drift as you slide over the tar snakes. but its fun. im not joe rocket, im the rocket turtle so i worked on body position and flow more than speed. these roads really work the arms!

i began to wake up as i climbed out of the heat and to the top of the world. had a muffin and coffie and waited for the pilot car to come around while sitting on the deck of the top of the world store. after a smoke i was back on the road. i ran quick but not fast as i wanted to enjoy the views.

after i got off the Chief i just kinda zoned out til i found myself back in Highland Chugging water and Pepsi. boy it was a warm one. i did stop in thermop and made sure my friends were ok. i also hooked up with some of 2nd Brigade in Shoshoni while i was waterin at the bar there.
i did stop at Hells 1/2 acre for a few shots as it was such a nice day. i hid under the only tree for 100 miles.
all in all VERY AWESOME RIDES!

 well Brothers and Sisters, that's what i've been up to. :cheerleader: Riding!
