Carbon Fiber muffler clear coating

I bought a used stainless Yoshimura system for my 05 Busa. I did not like the stainless muffler. It had dents and scratches. I bought a carbon fiber muffler sleeve and it was raw carbon fiber and with a dull finish. I would like to paint it with a high gloss heat resistant clear paint but quality high heat clear seems to be hard to find. How hot does a muffler get? I found a high heat clear that recommends curing at 400F? Do you think it will hurt my muffler sleeve at those curing temps?

You can grab a carbon fiber muffler bare handed with the bike running, they don't get that hot.
Any high temperature clear should be fine for that reason.
Just do good prep, and apply multiple coats with proper dry time in between.
