Cape Breton, NS

I'm currently planning a ride to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. Target trip dates are roughly bound by Labor Day weekend and the subsequent weekend. Looks like about 2.5 - 3 days each way, depending upon how much riding people are willing to do each day (250 - 350 miles).

End point of the trip is somewhere along the Cabot Trail, which has become a bit of a pilgrimmage for those of us in the northeast. Also includes a ferry ride between Nova Scotia and mainland New Brunswick.

Anyone game?

I'd love to. I spend a lot of time in your country - we have a cottage in Tinker, NB. I have yet to have the privledge of being in Cape Breton - can't wait!

You should take a run over to Newfoundland. It's by far the most culturally interesting area in the Maritimes.
