I came to Connecticut to visit my parents after not seeing them for 3+years
Me and my Dad drove out to Glastonbury to get some fresh blueberries for Mom who had some recipies she was going to try out.
This was my first time picking fresh blueberries on a farm. I did not know they could get this big!!!
We picked 10.30 pounds in about 30 minutes. I think I ate about 2 pounds while picking . . .
My Dad concentrating on not eating the berries.

Hard to beat fresh blue berries. I got access to all I can eat for free:thumbsup: we put up 82 quarts last year.

From my dunce stool :cookoo:

man those are some big aZZ berries. I dont think Ive ever seen em that big. Size of a quarter. holy moly. that pie looks top shelf by the way.

Those do look so good and HUGE! Years ago I used to really look forward to races at Seattle. We would always do a track walk the evening before and the back side was full of blackberry bushes, by the time we got back to the pits I wouldn't want any blackberries for another couple of months!

You lucky dog. Getting blue berries in California is very expensive. But, the love of the berries over comes me every time. I would LOVE to pick fresh blue berries.:thumbsup:

That is awesome! They look like grapes. :) I passed a blueberry farm on my ride today way off the beaten path. Wish I had stopped in!!! We used to tell our kids that if they didn't stop eating so many, we were going to weight them on the way in and way out.
