Can u add coolant to Gen1 without removing fairing?

best to remove the fairing to access the reservoir. or you run the risk of breaking/cracking the fairing if you keep it on.

I've added to the reservoir without completely taking the fairing off, but since you have to remove bolts or pushpins either way might as well just take it off.

+ 1,,,, small funnel with a piece of hose on it does the trick

Same ordeal here when filling resivour but with a MightyVac. Feed one end of line down through cap opening; fill the container on the MVac w/ fluid and blow on the other end of tubing (where it would connect to MVac itself).
But for actually filling / checking or topping off the radiator itself < >removal of fairing is a definate.
