Can this modification be done

I am trying to help a friend out by asking if someone on the board ever put a hayabusa motor on a '00 600 srad that is the year before the new body style. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS in advance.

I have seen 750's in 600 Frames, and I have heard about 1000cc in a 600 Frame. But the Busa Motor is not especially compact, I am just guessin gI am not a fabricator but I would say NO it's not possible. However, just about anything can be done if you have enough skill and enough money. But as for just slipping the Busa motor in there with minor hassles...I would say no way... FWIW

I've read (internet) about a Turbo shop that had a N/A Hayabusa motor in a Gix6 frame. It was late model, dunno if it was SRAD or not. But IIRC, it was some MAJOR work. Frame was cut & modified to accept the MUCH larger engine. But it would really scoot!
