I did mine myself and I am mechanically inept. I used a 2" whole saw and a little cheap laser pen. I screwed up the first couple of cuts, but I fianlly got it on the 4th try on the left hand side and the 3rd try on the right hand side. It doesnt look that good but I figure the engine can cool a lot easier this way anyhow.

Seriuously though, i did it and they came out fine on the first shot. I bought the LP carbon fiber frame sliders and even the cops that pulled me over the other day commented on how nice they were.
