Does anyone know to how to removed dried up super glue without tarnishing the clear coat on a gas tank?

Thanks in advance for any suggestion!

I would try to simply pick the glue off the clear coat first. If that does not work you will likely have to wet sand the glue off and buff the tank.

Would start with warm water and progress to a hairdryer. Will definitely take a while to get it off.

Ouch, I'm crying just thinking about it.

I used denatured alcohol on sticker glue with no problems then cleaned up with plexus if that helps.

pick it off as muych as possible and i know this is gonna sound harsh but gold car got spray painted black down the side my some ******* used just a tad of brake cleaner took it right off just use a little bit like a drop and wash it really quick

Thanks guys! After scraping it off as much as I could, I went to an auto body shop that I've used in the past for my cars and used their industrial strength cream and took it off. Didn't ask what it was because I wouldn't be able to buy it even if I wanted to. Best part, it was free of charge.
