Can a BKing Headlight be modded to fit a gen 1 busa?

So I've been looking at a lot of naked bikes like the ducati monster and the triumph speed triple but Im not too willing to part with my busa. Sooo I'm planning on stripping down my bike which of course takes away the headlight which brings me to the question- anyone tried it? Anyone know if it's possible or if there might possibly be kits already out?

Thanks-

I'de be shocked if it just bolted on, but if you take enough parts off the front of the B-King it may not be too bad to fit it on the Busa. It runs on the same electrical sysytem, it will work. There are several "streetfighter" websites that sell upright motocross style handlebars and headlight kits for many sportbikes too, including the hayabusa.

And, PM Tony Nitros. That guy has several bikes, a B-King and a naked Busa. He can probably point you in the right direction.

I would be suprised if it went straight onto a Mk1, but it shouldnt be
much work to make it. BK and Mk2 Busa front ends are very similar
externaly so putting it on a Mk1 would be do-able.

There are a few top yolk kits about, I used an ABM top clamp that
replaces both the Mk1's double top clamp and then used Renthal bars.
Change the master cylinder half moon clamps to one's from a GSX14 or
similar and you can mount mirrors on them.
Wireing takes some head scratching. My fuses are now under the pillion
seat which is a bonus. Belly pan came from Germany. Top rad hose feed
was cut off the rad and put on the rear. Huge front guard was cut down,
etc etc.

Put up against a B-King....
Its shorter.
Lighter.
Waaaaay better for pillions.
Better / Bigger fuel tank.
More leg room.
Half the price.

Busa's make GREAT naked bikes !
3 pages of naked Busa's here.

The gold one, with the exception of not having a seat is

I suppose that blue one is pretty alright too.. :colgate:

Mine was never built to win beauty contests.
The headlight stick out too far because I wanted to keep the stock clocks,
It tail would look better with a SV or GSXR tail and bodywork but I wanted
a good pillion bike.

Mine get's used hard.
1170 miles over a weekend. A cracked frame (welded up) Endless burnouts.
Touring, drags, chasing sportsbikes, LOT's of wheelies...etc etc,
Its no show pony and has a tough life.

I've owned 2 faired Hayabusa's and may have another one day,
but my Ugly-Bus is a much better bike for me untill I double the
speed limit for any length of time.

Most of the loom can be hidden, but I had a few bits chopped and
lengthened to put a few things under the rear of the tank or under the seat.
