Well Ladies and Gentleman,

Today is a day that will hopefully not be repeated soon.

Rob went down @ 1** + on a wide left hand sweeper on Rt 2 east in Mass.

I did not actually see it this time was there seconds afterwards, he is going to be alright with just a crushed right ankle.

Bike is surely totalled.

Much more to write and add to this story later.

Moving him from North Adams regional hospital to St Francis in Hartford, CT as I type.

Surgery in the A.M in Hartford.

Most severe bone crushing the orthopedic doctor had seen in 25 years of practice.

That is NOT good- ankle has many small bones, can be a long-term debilitating injury.

Hopes for the best, at that speed you take it as a blessing if it's not life-threatening.

Rob's in the OR @ Hartford Hospital under going surgery today @ 11.

I will update his condition tonight.

Let's hope he can be rebuilt fully.

He is one big guy, makes me look normal sized.
