I've got a microphone wired through the bike positioned on the undertail that records the exhuast, plus a dc conververter in the tail to power the camera. Works pretty good. Although time marches on and now using bullet cams and making the move into DVR's.

Also good for shooting still photography through the windscreen.

Chase cam (commonly called bullet cams) looks & works like this with a clamp or suction mount. Remote battery power source, and wired into the video camera. Nice thing about this one is it's 520 lines, others are lower resolution. http://www.chasecam.com

Wee bit of wires but it does work. We've mounted the Chase cam everywhere, mirror, fairing, underneath, chin bar of helmet, everywhere- even a broom stick duct taped to rear of bike.

Btw, on the Chasecam.com, here is the suction mount. And yes, it actually sticks just fine. Long as you've got a good flat surface like on the side of the busa- you can use it. The ChaseCam has the backside where you thread in small bolt built into the mount, then you just line it up and go. The ChaseCam.com setup is about $400 once you've got all the pieces but my videographer has had really good results with it.

Okay, okay, enough pics - how about some video.

I've posted this before, but I never tire of watching it. This is the http://www.sportbikecam.com fixed mount off the tank just with a video camera.

Now watch the difference with a Chase cam with multiple mounting points. Day and night.

Although the next wave is DVR's. Video Camera is obsolete. All you need is the bullet cam and the DVR recorder which also has a 4"x4" screen built in. http://www.themotocam.com What we may end up doing Tim has a setup where there are two bullet cams- one point forward, one rearward, and you can toggle back and forth in real time which riding and recording with the DVR. Terje over at http://www.roadmc.com experimented with this several years and built his one. Now you can buy it off the shelf for lil over $1000 for entire unit.
