cam timing questions

Okay I have my junk almost together
I have a question on my cam timing
normally like on my intake cam
IO 14 btdc
IC 36 abdc

so 14+36+180=230
divide that in half =115 then subtract the smaller number14
=101
easy
BUT my exhaust cam
EO 30 bbdc
EC 1 btdc
so the problem is then my math is different
anyone know how to do the math now? when the cam closes before tdc?

30-1+180 = 209
209/2 = 104.5
104.5+1 = 105.5

Velocity has all there bikes set at 105 at the intake and 107 at the exhaust. This is with alot of testing for optimal results.
