Cam chain tensioner

After reading a bunch of threads, most of them REALLY OLD. Do busa's auto-cam tensioners have issues much? Other than the first years.

I have an 2003 with 5600 miles and when RPM's are coming down from a rev, I hear what I believe to be the cam chain. Does that sound normal to you all? (new owner) It is not the clutch basket, noise as that is very easy to delineate.

I am wondering if it is normal, or if I should check my cam chain tension adjuster.

Thanks!

Zuk fixed the problem with a recall, and from 2000 or 2001 there wasn't an issue so you wont need to worrie about it unless you do some series engine building or decide to adjust or replace the cam sprockets/cams

btw there is a bolt on the back of the tensioner I believe, you could add a few #s to it, BUT I WOULD NOT....if it aint broke don't fix it

Why resurrect a ten year old post ?
