Calling all women

I got my wife a 3 stone diamond ring for Christmas. I'm debating on how to wrap it. Which do you think is best.

1. Wrap it in an a power tool or home appliance box. Get the big emotional swing from "you ba$tard" to "my hero".

2. Leave clues around the house and send her on a hunt. Payoff worth the aggravation.

3. Just wrap it in it's box and put it under the tree. Direct and to the point.

I'm partial to #1 myself. Please help me out here.

# 1 definitely! Better yet, put it in a vaccum cleaner box or an toaster box!

Good Question..
# 1 is over played, Husbands does it almost every year
# 2 is good , the hunt was funny..
# 3 no cause she will know it's jewerly and us women do like surprises.
How about this. Keep it in your pocket and assuming you got her other gifts like slippers or something .Wait till everyone opens there gifts including the one to her from you like the slippers. And when there is no more presents under the tree , and she thinks all you got her was slippers,wait a little bit then go to the tree and say Honey you forgot one then give her the little box. Just a thought...

buy some lingerie for her and put it in the same box under the lingerie that way its a double suprise thats what im doing this year

Leave clues, the Lovely Mrs. Kesler agrees with me, she says it's fun and your wife doesn't have to worry about saying something she shouldn't say.

just a thought i bought an ortimate that was made to hold a ring put it on the tree when i got that well its over and i didn't get anything special or gift of love told her to look on the tree took a min to find but sure was fun watching her look for it

but the vacuum or toaster box would be cool too

Hide it somewhere on the tree...put clues around the house, starting with one in a big box under the tree and let her hunt for it...take pictures of her frustrated as she looks in the tank of the toilet, behind the microwave, etc...

I've always thought it was neat to have a gift on the tree...you have so much on 'em, no one ever notices...

Looks like a very nice gift indeed...congrats to her...hope she doesn't read the board though!

You should buy her a pair of rubber gloves and put the ring inside. On secound thoght forget I said that she might just throw the gloves into your face and then knock you out.

Well I think #1 is pretty funny...and #2 is over-used. #3 is too plain.

I kinda like Michelle's idea. But slip the ring into the slipper, or the jewelry box into the slipper (if you don't think she would want to put on her slippers).

Or have it beside the bed, and before ya'll get out of bed Christmas morning.. sit up and give her some lovey-dovey talk and then pull out the jewelry box and hand it to her. She gets some tender words, gets a tender moment and you get to revel in the "you're the best man ever" stuff all day long.

Shrug...

They have Ornaments that you can put stuff in. Do that with clues for her to find it with other cute little presents for each clue!!

Once she's opened all her other presents, and thinking its all over... say, oh I've got one more that I forgot about etc.

Or, #1 put it in a parcel with an iron, but wear protective clothing.

Just give it to her on the eve of Christmas eve. A day early will really catch her off guard. Slip it on while she is sleep, and when she washes her face in the morning she notice it and you will need viagra+cialis+Seagrams Gin to keep up!
