CALLING ALL DYNO GURU'S

Posted this on another thread also,

I know theres a lot of controversy about the TRE's. But has anyone actually ran a bike on a dyno in third gear then installed a TRE and ran it again to see a difference? I think this would settle a lot of crap that gets said either for or against one? Right? Or is it not possible to do? You dyno guys can answer this one for all of us!

actually if you put it in 5th you gain 2HP over 4th gear so I would assume itwould be the same in 4 or 3rd due to it is only timing change untill 4K

The way I understand it.....a TRE only covers 1st and 2nd...and depending on what ohm resistor you use....possibly 6th....so there should be no difference in the Dyno results.

but it runs richer like in 5th so you should see the same in 5th as 1-2-3 , 2 hp more
