are you really trying to make excuses for this womans attempt to pass numerous bikes on the side of the road nearly killing a handful of people? yea we have all done stupid things but not that stupid. and if you have you should turn in ur license cause ur a danger to not only everyone else but urself. thats not being stupid. thats being dangerous and not giving a chit about anyone else other then urslef.

Not making excusses for her at all. Just saying that having the "Serves you right" attitude and ignoring the possibility that someone could possibly hurt in that vehicle and not stopping to at least check shows a similiar disregard for someone else and caring only about one's self.

Clearly I am in the minority as to what is considered character and out-going concern for others. And that's fine.

So, if there was a child passenger in that car and that child was injured, help is delayed because you'd rather let someone else deal with it on the chance the cager may still be angry?

I think at this point the driver would be disoriented and more embarrased than angry. Even if the driver was upset, asking if everyone on board was okay and uninjured and telling the driver you will call for assistance would likey defuse any anger.

IMO, this is an opportunity to let one's true character and out-going concern for another human being, regardless of the situation, shine through. Or, one could demonstrate character similar to the cager...disregard for others and focus on self.

The cager was stupid, that's a fact. But which of us hasn't done something stupid we regretted later? ???

Don't think we going to see eye to eye on this so no point on us going back and forth. The car went over some bumps and slid out of control into the median. It didn't flip end over end or roll over there wasn't even an impact. People with road rage aren't embarrassed after the initial incident is over. They want to strike out at someone, if the driver did that with a child in the car driver is definitely in homicidal mode, sane person or parent would have left off the throttle and let it go after the ride first started to get bumpy.

yea if the car rolled over or smahed into a tree of course we would get out to see if anyone needed help. thats just not the case here. she skid out of control into a ditch and thats it. she got herself there on her own. she can get herself out on her own. thats how I feel.

So Cal I understand where your coming from and like several others said including myself that if the driver had wrecked and impacted, rolled, flipped etc. We would have stopped to check on the welfare of the driver. She slid out and wound up on the side of the road. Nothing about that seemed hurt or damaged other than her pride and ego. The point I'm going to try and make is this. Say you do pull over to check and she is still upset and now hysterical from losing control. She or somebody else calls the police and paramedics. The police arrive to see a woman screaming @ you or crying hysterically. She is mad and embarrassed @ you and your fellow riders so she tells the Officer that you and your "Biker Gang" ran her off the road..... Now your there by urself and she's throwing out accusations and its just you there and her word vs yours...... Honestly what do you think the outcome of that situation is gonna be?? I'm betting not in your favor

well to be fair they have a video of what happened. Like anyone else I would have stopped had I felt anyone's well being was going to be more in jeopardy of my own, but there is about a 0% chance I would stop to

I hear what everyone is saying... although that car didn't roll over or had direct impact, it did jolt to a stop in the ditch. It also hit quite a few violent bumps before crossing the road. There is every possibility that the driver or any passenger could have struck their head on any number of things inside the car and be seriously hurt. Personally, I would risk the screaming and accusations to ensure that no one was seriously injured. If they are fine, I would call the authorities and be on my way. And as K03gsxr750 said, there is the video so I'm not too worried about being blamed for anything other than being a good Samaritan.

Well, maybe deserved but once in distress, someone should have stopped to see if the occupants were okay, rather than just wave to them as they passed by. I suspect that that is also a karma violation and will be repaid at some point.

I know some one that was on that ride, it was supposedly police escorted it was about 100 + bikes and apparently what happened was before they got on that stretch of rode the cars were given the opportunity to pass because they were going to block it off, and the two ladies in the car didn't but decided that they wanted to pass the long line of bikes and the cars up front.

There is another one that my buddy sent a while back from the view of the pickup truck in the front and you see how close she came to taken out bikes and vehicles. I was told that even though she almost killed a number of people bikers stopped when and where it was safe to do so.

yea I probably would have stopped. stopped so she could hear me call her a dumb C*** as she got slapped up side her head.

her actions were totally reckless and she would be going straight to jail and her vehicle impounded if any police officer observed her near deadly manuver putting everyone of those motorcycle riders lives at risk while she skid accross the highway completely out of control.

the only reason she didnt continue onto the opposite side of the highway and possibly kill some family (maybe yours) is the ditch she ran into.

Exactly what I was thinking. Why are the bikes blocking the entire freeway. Get in the right and let people pass on the left. Does not excuse the grass pass but no need for thinking you own the entire freeway.
