Hi ive got a 2002 hayabusa with the F1 light on, conected the wire for the dealer mode came up with c41 for fuel pump. The bike after a few problems after an engine rebuild starts fine the fuel pump runs, so what can the problem be checked the conectors. Is it safe to ride and if the fuel pump can be heard to run and the bike starts and runs and ticks over, can i just ignore. Thanks in advance.

That code indicates a fuel pump relay problem - malfunction, short, open . . .

Relay, not regulator. If you don't know what a powercommander is, you probably should not be working on a bike. Get a manual and do your best, or take it to a shop an pay someone who can fix it . . .

Shouldn't ever ignore engine codes.
Did you put it into dealer mode, to read the code?
Fuel pump relay is under the left hand plastic infill panel, to the left of the dash clocks, maybe just fit a new relay, might be an easy fix.

If I have a power commander am I going to get the c41 code?

No, a PC doesn't cause codes unless it malfunctions(which they do, but it's not very often).
If unplugging a PC clears a code, then you know it's highly suspect as the problem.
