C21 Code On Stage 1 Rcc Gen 1

I am now getting a C21 code when I run the bike under a load (intake air temp sensor). Is this usually due to the sensor going faulty, or caused by another issue? Someone had mentioned to me that an issue in the vacuum system could cause this?

Exactly where on the bike did you put this sensor?

It's located above the throttle bodies, in the stage 1 RCC intake plenum.

 

[POWERHOUSE]

None of the current RCC plenums have bungs installed for this purpose, and I have never seen Richard do this. Normally we would relocate this sensor, either forward in the ram air tube, or along the inside of the left frame as far back as possible to get it away from any hot air. You might want to try getting it out of the plenum and putting it somewhere else . . . maybe someone else has seen an issue like this and can comment . . .

I'm not surprised. I have found a few things done incorrectly on this bike so far.
