Well, when my 04 LE in red was delivered to my doorstep a little over a year ago, one of the very first things I did was to remove all those nasty warning stickers just as we all do.

The thing is, I've never enjoyed riding around on a billboard of sorts and, I'm personally very aware of what model type and, size bike I own. I don't need the stickers on it to remind me its a Busa, I'm very well aware.
Besides, I think its almost criminal to put stickers over such beautiful paint..........IMHO
Take a look and see what you think.

I think it looks good, but tell me again, what kind of bike is that?

Actually that looks pretty good... a lot better than what I thought it would look like. Mine isn't even a week old yet...I think I'll leave my stickers on for now.

Oh yeah, love those front turn signals! Are they Clear Alternatives?

Yes, those lenses are from Clear Alternetives. I also have the Chrome coated Amber bulbs so you don't see any amber in them at all while they're not in use.

Love the plain look! Nice job. Any secrets you can share to how you destickered her?

I think it looks great on the LE or any bike with one solid color....Not sure what it would look like on other bikes....I like the Kanji logo on mine....but the others look good too....I have the Blue and Silver and think the stickers add to its look, but I think your bike looks pretty damn nice like that...

AW, cmon!!! get that yamaha out of my sight!!!

The de-stickering took all of a half hour from start to finish.

I used a heat gun (on the low setting) to warm up the decal then, kept it warm as I peeled them off. A hair dryer (on the highest setting) would have work fine as well
There was quite a bit of sticker goo left behind and, for that I applied a bit more heat and wiped it off with a soft cotton rag (rags) soaked in WD-40.
threw a coat of wax on her afterwards and, shazam!!!

Why?? cause that's what I wanted in the first place. Differant strokes and, all that.
