Busa's first service

SAVE YOUR CASH !!! Do it yourself . I made the mistake of taking mine to the deal for the first service and they got me for $140.00 . Not agian That $140 Could have bought me a new rear tire .

I dont think this thread would have been started by anyone who was a savvy Busa (or bike) gear head.

Yes, the notice from your dealer is normal.

And...you would be well served to keep any new $11K piece of equipment in the care of the dealer in the early going - unless you are a savvy gear head!

1) Approx 3500 miles in the first 4 weeks of ownership for me.
2) I don't have a prob with the shop doing work on Guinevere, BUT, the only tech that works on her is a friend of mine who is also a fellow Busa owner. You guys will meet him at the Meet -N- Greet.

Alot of you say a letter from your dealer after 2 months is normal. I've never had a letter from any dealer but have always done the mileage recommended. If you have 100 miles after 2 months why would you want to check the bolts, chain and change the Oil and Filter

Or do they assume your so stupid that you don't know when you get to 600 miles
