Busa Shock Options....

Greetings,

Was going to look for a used Ohlins but shock pricing has dropped tremendously recently. I ending up ordering a 4 way height adjustable ELKA for $795 for Gen 1 ( same price for Gen 2) Busa. These shocks used to be over $1200 bucks 2 years ago. China effect, I guess.

Penske is offering a 2 way adjustable for the same money now , but the ELKA is offering way better bang for the buck. Shock pictured has optional hydraulic preload adjuster.

I'm curious as to your justification for spending big bucks on a replacement shock?

What will this shock do that your OEM shock won't?

A well setup and serviced stock shock does a pretty good job IMO...gen 2 shock is better again as its slightly uprated.
