I have an 05 which gets close to the red in slow traffic but cools back down as long as I'm moving. My fan kicks on normally. Any suggestions? Ive also done the process of trying to rid air out of the system.

It could be many things but if there are no leaks and the fluid level is up then perhaps its the thermostat. here is what I did. I did this before I got the 1397 kit. First I got a lower temp switch so that the fan kicks on sooner. 2nd. I got a muzzy blade so it moves the air faster. and 3rd I flushed out the system and put engine ice in it. After that ive never even gotten to the half way mark ...
