APE has added the option of bronze valve seats to our list of cylinder head services.

For years, APE has been the supplier of high end bronze valve seats to many of the leading cylinder head shops. APE - Oversize Bronze Valve Seats

We make all of our seats in house on our CNC equipment.

Now we are offering installation of these seats as an option with our cylinder head services.

I wouldnt think they would last long.Bronze valve guides dont last like the hardened ones.Why bronze??Any gains from using them??Just curious.

Copper and Bronze conducts heat better than the iron the the OEM seats, which keeps the valves cooler, preventing seat erosion and valve face distortion/damage. A properly-chosen alloy will not wear any faster than stock.

OK.I figured bronze would corrode or whatever.I like the cooler part.Always a plus
